Two missing Boise hikers found safe

Two Boise hikers reported missing since Sunday evening have been located and are doing OK.

The Valley County Sheriff's Office says a forest service employee found the hikers about a half a mile up Cougar Creek Trail off of the South Fork. They apparently went too far past their destination.

The report of the two lost hikers came in Sunday at 8:28 p.m.

The hikers were heading from Kennally Creek Campground to Blackmare Lake.

The sheriff's office says it will be a little difficult to help the hikers get out as search teams will have to go through McCall via Lick Creek Road to get to the hikers.
