MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — The City of Meridian is letting residents put out unlimited trash and recycling on your regular service day this week.
For best results, follow these city guidelines:
- Recycling will take place on your normal pickup week ( orange bags not eligible)
- All unlimited trash and recycling must be contained or bundled in separate receptacles ( 4 feet and 30-pound limit)
- Bulk items and non-freon appliances will be collected for free if scheduled before pick up days
- Tires, electronics, liquids, and household hazardous waste are not accepted
- Freon appliances can still be picked up if scheduled later but will be the full cost: The city recommends scheduling your pickups with Republic Services at least 48 hours before your normal pick-up day- (208) 345-1265.
