Senate passes NDAA, removes section on national security space launch

WASHINGTON — The Senate on July 23 passed its version of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 by a vote of 86 to 14. The NDAA authorizes $740.5 billion for national defense programs, including $636.4 billion for the Department of Defense, $25.9 billion for Department of Energy national security programs $69 billion for war operations.
